Our meetings take place at 7:00pm the second Tuesday of every month. We alternate between fiction and non-fiction selections and choose our books democratically via polls. Book suggestions are always welcome and appreciated!

If you enjoy reading books written by French / francophone authors and would like to discuss them with other lovers of French Fiction in French, this is a group for you. Upper East Side Knitters connects knitters who are as passionate about yarn as you are. The great thing about our group is that by meeting regularly you will get to know other members well. Well, I run a book club and a movie club, but this group is really just to get together to do whatever...going to dinner, grabbing a drink or coffee, when we get to know each other more maybe game nights at someone's place, bowling and mini golf, going to events...you get the point. My hope is that people will join and suggest outings to me and I'll be able to create meet ups from those suggestions!!

We are a group of women and men (30s, 40s, 50s) who plan to meet together socially, for dining, conversation, coffee, movies, book reviews, etc. You don't need to live in Middle Village or Forest Hills to join, only to want to attend events in these areas, or surrounding areas of Queens.
